WPP Sales Fall In 'Less Worse' Q3

WPP CEO Sir Martin Sorrell had predicted a two percent revenue fall for 2009, then revised it downward to four percent after a lackustre first half. In reality, both figures are wide of the mark: for the first nine months of the year, WPP made revenue of £6.29 Million, an impressive 24.5 percent year-on-year growth on paper, at constant currencies, but like-for-like, without the benefits of currency fluctuations and the acquisitions of TNS, that tumbles to a 8.4 percent drop.
